How we work

What happens if you say yes.

Every step from the first call to your first results, what we'll need from you along the way, and straight answers to the questions people ask. Nothing about the process should come as a surprise.

The steps

From first call to first results.

  1. Consultation

We talk through your business, your offer and what a good lead looks like, and which platforms we'd use.

Your part: Tell us what you're putting to market, and ask anything.

  2. The agreement

Two documents, signed by both of us: the Client Service Agreement, which is the standing terms, and the Service Schedule, which records your platforms, fees, start date and who owns each account. Signing electronically is fine.

Your part: Read them, and our plain-English guide to how we work, before you sign.

  3. Onboarding meeting

We connect to your advertising accounts together, through delegated access, and show your team how to record each enquiry's progress in the pipeline.

Your part: Send through your brand assets.

  4. We build

Landing page, ad creative, tracking, pipeline, lead capture and follow-up automation.

Your part: Approve the creative, or send your comments back in one go.

  5. Launch

Your first month's fees are paid in advance, then the campaign goes live.

Your part: From launch, you pay the ad platforms directly for your ad spend.

  6. Your first results

The campaign runs for a full month, then we sit down and go through the results together.

Your part: Record what happens to every enquiry, so the results mean something.

Then, every month

Weekly optimisation. Reporting at least monthly for each platform. Meeting time included each month.

How long does it take?

We've deliberately not put dates against these steps. How quickly we reach launch depends mostly on how quickly we get access and assets. Once we have what we need, the build moves quickly.

What we need from you

Access, assets and answers.

You'll get a checklist that sets out exactly what we need and how to grant it. Most of it is ticking boxes.

Access

Delegated or partner access to accounts you already own:

  • Your advertising accounts and business manager
  • View access to any website analytics you have
  • Your website, to install measurement tags
  • Your business profile and social handles
  • Your CRM, if you use one

Never your passwords, and never your domain or DNS logins. For anything that needs setting on your domain, we send you step-by-step instructions.

Assets

The raw material for your creative and landing page:

  • Logo files, brand colours and fonts
  • Photos and video of your actual work
  • Existing creative or sales material
  • Reviews and testimonials
  • Licences, accreditations and memberships
  • The areas you service

Real photography tends to land better than stock. Your team, your jobs, your vehicles, finished work.

Answers

Things only you can tell us, and they shape the campaign more than anything we do:

  • What you're putting to market
  • What a good lead looks like, and a bad one
  • Work you'd rather not take on
  • How much work you can absorb, and how quickly
  • Whether your work is seasonal
  • Who answers the phone when an enquiry comes in

Once leads start arriving

The part that sits with you.

It's the part that most often decides whether a campaign works, so we'd rather you knew it now.

  1. Answer fast

An enquiry answered within minutes behaves very differently from the same enquiry answered the next day. We set up automatic replies, notifications and reminders to buy you time, but someone on your side still has to pick up the phone.

  2. We bring the leads. You win the work.

We're responsible for generating and delivering the leads. Contacting, qualifying and converting them is yours. That split is set out in the agreement.

  3. Record every enquiry

Move each one through the pipeline: contacted, booked, became a customer, or not a fit. We feed those real outcomes back to the ad platforms, so they learn to find more of the people who actually became customers.

Once you're live

How we work together, month to month.

  • Reporting

At least monthly for each platform: campaign performance, lead volume and spend against budget. A written report, a live dashboard, a recorded walkthrough, or a combination.

  • Meetings

Your fees include a set amount of meeting time each month, recorded in your Service Schedule.

  • Changes

Two rounds of changes on each deliverable, if you want them. Changes we make on our own initiative to improve performance are unlimited and never charged.

  • Your ad budget

Changing it takes an email. No contract variation, no paperwork.

  • Anything extra

Work outside the agreed services is quoted separately or charged at an hourly rate. We'll always tell you first. It won't turn up on an invoice unannounced.

  • Getting hold of us

Email for anything that needs a record. After 5pm, or on a weekend or Brisbane public holiday, it's treated as arriving the next business day.

Questions

Questions people ask.

Something not covered here? Ask on the call. That's what it's for.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Results depend on your offer, your pricing, your market, what competitors are doing and how leads are handled once they arrive. What we commit to is doing the work properly and showing you exactly what happened, including when it didn't work.

How long until my ads are live?

It depends mostly on how quickly we get access and assets. Once we have what we need, the build moves quickly.

Who owns the accounts and my data?

Your advertising accounts are yours, and they stay yours. Your customer data is yours too: if we part ways, we export it to you, then delete our copy of anything that identifies a person. The analytics, tracking and CRM accounts we set up to run your campaigns are ours, and you get view access to the reporting while we work together.

What happens to my landing pages if we stop?

They stay live for a short transition window. The pages themselves are built on our systems and licensed to you while we work together, so they remain ours. We take our tracking off your website and export your data to you.

What if I want to stop?

Either of us can end the agreement on written notice. There's no lock-in period and no exit fee. The details are in the agreement, and we'll walk you through them before you sign.

Do you take a cut of my ad spend?

No. None of it. You pay the platforms directly and we earn nothing from that spend.

What does it cost?

One fee for each platform we manage, plus one systems fee however many platforms you run, all quoted ex GST. How fees work.

Do I need a website already?
